Friends of the Koala

For 40 years, Friends of the Koala (FoK) has been at the forefront of koala rescue, treatment, rehabilitation and release across the Northern Rivers of New South Wales.

Since its establishment in 1986, FoK has become one of Australia’s most respected and influential koala conservation organisations. Through dedicated volunteer support, evidence-based conservation programs, rescue services, habitat advocacy and world-recognised koala data collection, FoK has played a critical role in protecting koalas both locally and nationally.
