FSC Week 2026
Small choices can protect something much bigger!
This FSC Forest Week, weāre shining a light on Australiaās forests and how the everyday products we choose can help protect them.
At About A Dog, our toilet paper is made from 100% recycled, FSC-certified paper. That means no trees are cut down to make our toilet paper, while FSC certification provides added assurance that the recycled materials used have been responsibly sourced and verified.
Because protecting forests shouldnāt be limited to one week of the year.

MORE THAN A FOREST
These arenāt just trees being lost. They are homes, food sources and safe breeding grounds for wildlife already fighting to survive.
Itās why the choices we make every day matter and why we must question the continued destruction of old-growth forests that play such an important role in protecting Australiaās threatened wildlife.

This FSC Forest Week ā and every week ā letās commit to doing one thing for forests. These actions are simple and accessible, whether or not you live close to a forest.
- Shift consumption habits: buy second-hand products, reuse or repair old items, or simply look for the FSC logo.
- Go plant-based: reducing meat consumption helps mitigate pressure on the worldās forests and collectively reduces demand for deforestation in service of agriculture.
- A day without driving: if possible, pick a day to venture out by walking, cycling, or taking public transport.
- Connect with nature: silence your phone and spend time outside by visiting forests, planting trees, or tending to a community garden.
When we all choose our one thing for forests, our individualefforts have a powerful collective impact - this week and every week.
